Beckham Denies Parent War

David Beckham has lambasted his critics, and rubbished reports that his parents are having a 'cold war' with his pop star wife victoria's parents.

Beckham also denied that he was addicted to fame, and claimed he never set up photo opportunities for paparazzi.
The Real Madrid midfielder went on to say that his divorced parents Ted and Sandra had never had a problem with Victoria's parents Jackie and Tony.

"They've all been treated equally. People have tried to say I bought my father-in-law this or that car and something smaller for my mum and dad but that's just not true," The Sun quoted Beckham as saying.

"There was supposed to have been an argument between my mum and Victoria's mum about preparations for my birthday. When that happened we were all sitting down together and laughing as it was hysterical.

I've always been close to my mum and dad, and always will be. They are the reason I am where I am today. My relationship with them will never change," he added.
