Praise For Beckham

Real Madrid coach Carlos Quieroz believes that David Beckham could play in the centre of midfield for the remainder of his career.

Beckham swapped his customary wide position when he moved from Manchester United and Quieroz is pleased with the way he has coped with the switch.

"Considering central midfield is a new position after 16 years on the wing, he is doing very well," he said.

"He is now convinced he can finish his career in that position."
